1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًۭا
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts — Saheeh International
2
فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًۭا
And the winds that blow violently — Saheeh International
3
وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًۭا
And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] — Saheeh International
4
فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًۭا
And those [angels] who bring criterion — Saheeh International
5
فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا
And those [angels] who deliver a message — Saheeh International
6
عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا
As justification or warning, — Saheeh International
7
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ
Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. — Saheeh International
8
فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ
So when the stars are obliterated — Saheeh International
9
وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ
And when the heaven is opened — Saheeh International
10
وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ
And when the mountains are blown away — Saheeh International
11
وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ
And when the messengers' time has come... — Saheeh International
12
لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ
For what Day was it postponed? — Saheeh International
13
لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ
For the Day of Judgement. — Saheeh International
14
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ
And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? — Saheeh International
15
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
16
أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
Did We not destroy the former peoples? — Saheeh International
17
ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ
Then We will follow them with the later ones. — Saheeh International
18
كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
Thus do We deal with the criminals. — Saheeh International
19
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
20
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ
Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? — Saheeh International
21
فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ
And We placed it in a firm lodging — Saheeh International
22
إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ
For a known extent. — Saheeh International
23
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ
And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. — Saheeh International
24
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
25
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
Have We not made the earth a container — Saheeh International
26
أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا
Of the living and the dead? — Saheeh International
27
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا
And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. — Saheeh International
28
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
29
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. — Saheeh International
30
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّۢ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍۢ
Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns — Saheeh International
31
لَّا ظَلِيلٍۢ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." — Saheeh International
32
إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ
Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, — Saheeh International
33
كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ
As if they were yellowish [black] camels. — Saheeh International
34
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
35
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
This is a Day they will not speak, — Saheeh International
36
وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. — Saheeh International
37
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
38
هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. — Saheeh International
39
فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ
So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. — Saheeh International
40
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
41
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ
Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs — Saheeh International
42
وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
And fruits from whatever they desire, — Saheeh International
43
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." — Saheeh International
44
إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. — Saheeh International
45
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
46
كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ
[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals. — Saheeh International
47
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
48
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ
And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow. — Saheeh International
49
وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe, that Day, to the deniers. — Saheeh International
50
فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ
Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe? — Saheeh International
